The Postcard Race

THE POSTCARD RACE

The Postcard Race is a tribute to the amazing way the post office, supported by an international network, can transport a flat piece of paper from where ever we might be right to you.  Something that has travelled thousands of miles will then be easily lost on your desk. We are testing the systems. Please report if and when your postcard arrives.

The Postcard Race has 12 rounds (once a month) and about 50 contestants. The first person to e-mail or post here, on the blog, their receipt of a postcard and reveal the quote on the back of the postcard wins: "Something mailed to them from another country".  Yes further use and testing of the fantastic postal system. There are 12 prizes only.

Those living outside major centres will have a handicap of two or three days. Handicaps will vary depending on the results; perhaps we will learn that mail always arrives in NYC first.  We shall see.

Got one!

Twenty years from now you wil be more disappointed by the things you did not do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds on your sils. Explore. Dream. Discover.
Rolyn wanted me to throw in that she actually knows how to tie(and presumablu untie) a bowlie. Love from Annie and us!
